Graduate Studies Scholarship


I guess, almost all newly graduates are interested in pursuing graduate studies. Here are some scholarships available


1. James E Worsfold Scholarship

According to the studyinnewzealand.com, this is to encourage research into the early history of the Wellington region. Candidates must be studying for a Masters degree or Doctor of Philosophy relating to the history of the Wellington region between 1830 and 1900.There is one scholar awarded each year. The value is $3,000 each year. The closing for application is on 6 January 2016.



2. University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarship - Faculty of Engineering

According to the studyinnewzealand.com, this is to encourage and support academically excellent domestic and international students who are paying domestic fees, to undertake doctoral study at the University of Auckland. The Scholarships shall be available to students enrolled full-time at the University of Auckland who have paid the fees or have arranged to pay the fees, for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Clinical Psychology or the research component of another approved doctorate. The value of the scholarship is $25,000 plus any compulsory fees/ The tenure of 36 months and the closing of application is on 6 January 2015.

3. Julius von Haast Fellowship Award

According to the studyinnewzealand.com, this is to recognize German researchers to spend time working collaboratively with their New Zealand colleagues, and to establish, or enhance, collaborative research of benefit to both countries. This is open to all fields of research.  The applicant, however,  must be a German national with an international reputation as an innovative researcher. Only one is awarded per year with value of $38,000 per annum and the tenure of awards is 3 years. Application will be closed on 19 June 2015.
